She only realized the wedding wasn’t hers when the vows began. Everything was exactly the same as she had planned. The pink flowers, the extra petals along the sides of the aisle. The whole decor was literally hers. Even the idea of having the bride and groom stand back to back until the vows. A double reveal, she had called it. What was going on? Was someone trying to copy her wedding? In the moment she removed her veil and turned around shock hit her. Who was that man? She looked around. Who were those guests? Everyone was staring at her in just as much shock. “Who are you?”, asked the groom. “Who are YOU! And why are you copying my wedding?, she answered outraged. She lifted her dress and ran out the same way she had come in, through the aisle. This was not her wedding, and she needed to get back to her real one. She came out the back door and saw another door identical to the one she had just come out from, on the opposite side. She went in and saw HER fiancé standing back to back with a mysterious other woman. She shouted to interrupt and everyone looked at her in confusion. The imposter bride took off her veil and, to her shock, she looked identical to herself. And in that moment she vanished. The bride and groom of this wedding watched in shock as this strange woman who had just crashed their wedding was now gone. They thought they all must have imagined it, so they proceeded with the ceremony. They never spoke about it again, but it shaped everything that followed.
